FLIGHT
OPERATION SAFETY BULLETIN
July
5, 2000
To All J41 crews:
The Safety and Regulatory Compliance computer
trending program has indicated a significant increase in the number of
rejected take-offs due to configuration warnings. Many of these are
attributable to the condition levers slipping aft. The Safety and
Regulatory Compliance Department is working very closely with the
Maintenance Department and other J41 operators to try to mitigate the
number of rejected take-offs due to this problem. In the mean time,
I would like to ask that you confirm the condition levers to be in the
full forward position and friction lock tightened before the beginning of
the take-off roll. If you have any questions or concerns about this
subject, please give us a call or stop by.
