Currently we operate 178 weekday AmericanConnection flights between 20 cities in
10
Midwestern states and carry an average of 3,200 passengers each business day. Our fleet
consists of 11 thirty passenger Jetstream
41s, 5 forty-eight passenger ATR 42s, 3 sixty-eight passenger ATR
72s and 3 50 seat Embraer 145 regional jets. Approximately 1,400 of the total
2,100 employees at Trans States Airlines are
employed in the Midwest Division and provide support services for operations nation wide.
Over that past two years our facilities at the St. Louis hub have been upgraded in
both passenger gate areas as well as lower level support areas and are one of the best in
the regional airline industry today. The gate area refurbishment was completed in 1997 and
touts the new AmericanConnection color scheme as well as various works of a local St.
Louis artist. Construction of the lower level operations area was completed in December of
1997 which provides over 3,000 square feet of space and houses an operations area, crew
ready room, and crew lounge as well as local station management offices.
