This is an outside position which will include the following:
- Driving tugs and trucks
- Hooking up ground power units
- Loading and unloading checked bags, mail and freight
- Filling out the cargo loading form
- Sorting bags in the bag room
- Maintain safety standards
- Assist the disabled passengers
- Lots of lifting, bending, stooping and walking
- Coordinate passenger guidance
- De-ice airplanes
- Directing airplanes
- Commissary and lavatory services (STL only)
This is as outside position which will include the following:
- Dealing with passengers
- Maintain safety
- Make sure the passengers are on the correct aircraft
- Fill out the bag sheet and flight load manifest
- Make correct cabin announcements
- Responsible for the flight leaving on time
- Directing some of the aircraft out
- Lifting carryon bags and gate checked bags
- Note the reason for any delay
- Type computer entry
- Meet inbound flights
- Guiding passengers across the ramp
- Coordinate passenger guidance
- Assisting disabled passengers
- Lots of lifting, bending, stooping and walking
- Check passengers in
- Make boarding announcements
- Change seat assignments
- Add frequent flyer numbers
- A complete knowledge of Pars/Worldspan
- Closing out flights
- Rebook flights
- Retrieving information from the computer
- Issuing boarding passes
- In St. Louis only, one must be a CSR first
This is a broad general category
- Previous customer service work
- 6 months office experience
- Ability to answer phones, file and other general skills
- Computer experience - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently
- Data entry
- Set up schedules for pilots, first officers and flight attendants
- Fill vacancies due to sick calls and no shows
- Comply with FAA guide lines
- Conform to union guide lines
- Use computer to change crew member schedules and access the computer
system
- Complete complex task in a timely manor
- Keep phone calls under control
- Handle stress and critical problems solving
- This department is open 24 hours per day
- Non certified A&P with airplane experience
- Must have A&P license
- Provide own tools
- No experience required
- Will be involved with all aircraft maintenance
- This department is open 24 hours per day
- Avionic technicians must have an FCC License
- Will start on reserve
- Must live within one (1) hour of airport that is your domicile base
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Height - 5' 1" Min to 5' 7" Max (Cannot exceed 5' 7")
- Weight proportional with height
- Must be neat, well groomed and professional
- Could be away from home for up to 4 days at a time
- Some work days could be up to 14 hours
- Training will last approximately 6 weeks in St. Louis, Missouri

- FAA Commercial pilots license with instrument and multi-engine ratings
- ATP preferred
- 1500 total hours fixed wing
- 500 multi-engine
- A current first class FAA medical Certificate
